There's a new arrival in The Only Way is Essex in the form of Sam Faiers' ex-boyfriend and first true love, Lewis.

In a series of stills taken from Wednesday night's show, the blonde star can be seen hugging her former flame when they have a chance meeting in the gym.
Sam, who has been working up a sweat alongside her sister, Billie, looks happy but a little flustered during their brief catch-up amongst the machines.

Wearing grey Lycra leggings and a pink vest, Sam chats away to the hunky blonde who she used to date when she was a teenager.
This new cast member is sure to spice things in the already complicated and confusing love triangle between Sam, Joey Essex and Elliot Wright.
Sunday's episode saw Sam and Joey meet up alone to try and sort out how they felt about each other, after breaking off their engagement earlier this year.

Joey accused Sam of giving him mixed signals by sending him texts while she was starting a new relationship.

However he was resigned to calling it a day and said: ‘It’s just not going to work.’

The pair look deep in conversation as they enjoy a coffee together, and it is yet unknown whether Mario's own love life comes up in the discussion too.
