The Kardashian Kurse: Reality TV's first family have seven divorces and three separations between them

Love, or the lack there of, is a numbers game for the Kardashian clan and the odds are certainly not in their favour.

Only one marriage out of 11 trips down the aisle has not ended up in divorce or separation for the Kardashian women, Bruce Jenner or the late Robert Kardashian.
With the announcement that Kris and Bruce have split after 22 years together on Tuesday, the extended family now have seven divorces and three separations between them.

The only person to remain married was the late Robert Kardashian and his wife Ellen Pierson, who were married just eight weeks prior to his death from cancer.
Ironically it is the two relationships in the Kardashian family that have not involved marriage - Kim Kardashian and Kanye West and sister Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick - that seem to be the most successful.
Kim's decision not to marry partner Kanye seems to have paid off dividends.

The 32-year-old has one of the more dubious relationship histories of her family seems to have finally found her love match with the rapper.
After being friends for seven years the pair quickly became inseparable and in December they announce they are expecting a child together, baby North, who was born on June 15.
Their love only blossomed however, after the star's second marriage and most infamous relationship collapsed.
Kim caused a public outcry after she filed for divorce from her second husband - the star had married music producer Damon Thomas at 19 only to get divorced three years later - Kris Humpheries after just 72 days.

The reality star and NBA player had tied the knot on August 20, 2011 and the wedding itself aired as a televised special in early October, just a few days Kim filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.
The pair duked it out in court and in the media but finally divorced this year.
Kim is of course no stranger to divorce with her mother Kris and father Robert divorcing when she was a young girl.

The couple were married for 13 years before divorcing acrimoniously in 1991 after Kris had an affair with a much younger man Todd Waterman.
Robert went on to marry twice more, while Kris married Bruce just a month after her divorce was finalised.
Bruce and Kris had been dating five months when they walked down the aisle blending Kris' family of four - Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and Robert - with Bruce's brood of four as well.
Bruce was no stranger to to walking down the aisle having done it twice before.
During his success as an Olympic athlete, Bruce was married to Chrystie Crownover,  whom he had two children Burt and Casey. Chrystie was pregnant with Casey when Bruce left her for actress Linda Tompson.
The 63-year-old married Elvis' former girlfriend the same year he divorced his first wife. During their four years of marriage he had two sons, Brandon and Brody both of whom starred on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Bruce and Kris are not the only ones to fall to the Kardashian Kurse recently.
Kris' daughter Khloe also appears to be struggling to keep her marriage together.
The 29-year-old has reportedly split with her husband of three years Lamar Odom as he is allegedly struggling with drug dependency issues.
The couple were held up by many as a true love story having married just a month after meeting.
The pair even released a unisex perfume together, Unbreakable, as a symbol of their bond.
Ironically Khloe's sister Kourtney appears to now have the most stable relationship.

The 34-year-old and her younger boyfriend Scott Disick were always seen as the unstable couple amongst the Kardashian clan however, now after seven years and two children together - Mason and Penelope - the couple still have no plans to marry - and are still together.
There has also been rumors circulating that Kourtney 34-year-old is expecting for a third time.
Scott told Keeping Up With Kardashians creator Ryan Seacrest, the pair do not plan to tie the knot anytime soon.
Scott said: 'I think if it’s not broke, don’t fix it.
'I feel like I used to want to get married more than she did, and then, being that she was always so not interested, I’ve decided not to be.'

Kris and Bruce's separation comes as Kris's daughter Khloe, 29, is going through her own marital woes with husband of four years, Lamar Odom.

The brunette beauty kicked the basketballer out of their home in Tarzana, California, in August after a failed intervention to get him to go to rehab.
The 33-year-old sportsman is allegedly addicted to crack cocaine.
Khloe then reportedly informed the former LA Clippers star that she wanted a divorce on their wedding anniversary, last month.
However on Tuesday, it seemed that Khloe was still hoping to save her marriage.
The 29-year-old, who is said to be holding off on filing divorce papers even though she has signed them, has hinted she isn't ready to give up on her husband because she is still madly in love with him.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star alluded to her marriage woes on Twitter on Tuesday, writing: 'Not all scars can be seen and not all love can be explained. The deepest love is also the hardest to express. Only those in it, understand.
'If I love u. Its a deep 4ever love. Ride til the end. Family/friend.Its simply called love. I take it seriously. Dont judge unless u r in it.
'We all have our own journeys in life. So even if u don't accept mine. Be kind....We all have a journey 2travel & I want to walk mine, my way.
