Newly single Mariah Carey defiantly flashes her curves

She recently split from husband Nick Cannon after just six years of marriage but Mariah Carey isn't letting her personal troubles get in the way of her professional life. 

The 44-year-old singer took to the stage in Chengdu in the Sichuan Province of China on Sunday night in a plunging corset and teeny-tiny underwear-flashing skirt. 

Indeed, Mariah's skirt was little more than a belt but that didn't seem to bother the diva. 

And Mariah was no more covered up on top, flashing her cleavage in a tiny plunging corset, which left very little to the imagination. 

A pair of silver heels, one rather bizarre glove and huge diamond earrings completed Mariah's outfit. 

Mirror image: Mariah's image was beamed on to a huge screen behind her as she writhed around on a red cushion on stage 

Her long blonde hair was left loose and swept over one shoulder as Mariah put on quite the display onstage. 

Mariah looked in good spirits onstage, despite reports of her struggling during a recent performance in Tokyo.

Emotional: It appeared to be quite an emotional performance for the diva, who recently split from her husband of six years, Nick Cannon 

The Hero singer was lambasted by several fans online after her show, claiming she had struggled to perform many of her songs and her famed voice was not what it used to be.

One Twitter user, Elle, wrote: 'It's a wrap for Mariah Carey's singing career. You're a legend. Time to retire. She can't sing anymore. At all. What happened?'

Another user, who goes by handle Peaches & Herb, tweeted after seeing the video: ‘Y'all. Mariah Carey really can't sing anymore. That was hard to listen to.

The Hero hitmaker also appeared to struggle with her microphone when singing We Belong Together, with the butterfly decal detaching from the mic.

She attempted to continue uninterrupted with the song, though halted saying, 'Wait a minute. I can't go on.

Meanwhile, Nick spoke about separating from the mother of his two children last August.

Back to her best: After some criticism about her performance in Tokyo, Mariah appeared to be back to her best in Chengdu

'I’m just taking everything one day at a time and just being the best person that I can possibly be at the end of the day,' he told Extra.

And he said he was still undergoing a procedure to remove the tattoo he had dedicated to the superstar.

'It’s not finished yet, he said. 'It wasn’t supposed to be revealed yet. I didn’t know they were there, that’s how sneaky paparazzi are.

'I had just gotten it done, it was painful. It hurt a lot and I’m still not finished, I’m still probably like six more sessions away.'
