Kym Lomas allegedly began an affair with a former Coronation Street co-star after a cast night out.
Friends of the 37-year-old actress reported Kym and her co-star Oliver Mellor, 32, began a romance when the cast partied together last Valentine’s Day.
According to The Sun, the pair embarked on a five-month affair, meeting at the home of a mutual friend in Manchester, while Kym’s husband, EastEnders actor Jamie Lomas, 33, remained unaware of the romance.
A close friend told the paper that Kym was ‘terrified’ of being found out and took care that she was rarely seen out in public with Oliver.
The insider added: ‘They both knew it was wrong because Kym had only just got married – but they just couldn’t resist each other. The chemistry between them was just too strong.’
The co-stars were pictured together by The Sun in July as they attended a family barbecue to celebrate Kym’s parents’ wedding anniversary at their home in Runcorn, Cheshire.

Their affair is reported to have started around the time of the soap’s Rovers Return arson attack in February, when Oliver’s character Matt Carter took part in a striptease and the pair began texting.
Kym’s husband was away in America and Kym was reported to have been ‘lonely and desperate for attention.’
The source said: ‘Oliver definitely caught Kym’s eye during the striptease – they were eyeing each other up all night during those scenes.

Kym, who plays Michelle Connor in the soap, wed 33-year-old Jamie in September 2012, with the couple selling pictures of their wedding to a magazine for a six-figure sum.
After 11 months of marriage the couple, who have a two-year-old daughter Polly, announced a trial separation but got back together in September.
Meanwhile Oliver Mellor has recently started dating lingerie model Rhian Sugden, 26.
